Yes, livechat is useful when it comes to business sales. Livechat helps other people communicate.

I don't think Live Chat is a must, but you'll certainly lose sales not providing that service. Your competition is already there talking to your prospects.

As a customer, I definitely am more willing to sign up to a long term contract with a company that offers LIVE CHAT customer assistance. Than I am to join one that doesn't. Although having an email option is great too, I think LIVE CHAT is better for solving more pressing problems. My current web host and domain provider offers both LIVE CHAT and help desk email ticket service. So that's great for me.

Live chat is really needed for any online business sites and for web hosting its really important to build customers and improve sales conversion rates. Live chat agent feature can really help with questions in the middle of an online purchase.

Live chat is a must for me. I have a website that focuses on real estate selling and it helps a lot that there's someone who's going to answer for me. You just have to train them well because it's going to have a big impact in your business if they are misinformed.

I would say definitely, live chat promotes instant support, increase user engagement and instantly resolves a lot of customer queries. Though it doesn't really follow that having such service would actually increase or decrease sales but it is more of the convenience of its potential clients which is for me in its crucial stage as answering them correctly would mean a possible prospect. Besides if I am a customer I feel more comfortable visiting sites and addressing my issues directly to live chats it is more convenient that might progress into a possible deal.

Live chat is very important for every software or hardware product that is being sold to the market. Why? Here are my reasons below:
1. Live chat is a form of after sales service that every consumer should get or should be entitled to. This makes an impression that the company is there to support and assist any questions or issues that may arise after the purchase of such product by the consumer.
2. Live chat saves money rather than making a long distance call as it is thru internet.
3. Live chat makes the manufacturer stand out from other competitors who does not have this medium. This in the long run improves the manufacturer or the company's reputation or goodwill.

Live chat is actually important for a hosting organization. A live chat support will make your life easier when debugging, or when you encounter many problems . and you must rovide quality otherwise please dont start a live chat service with your website.

Yes. I think livechat is a must so you can establish confidence to the visitors on the page. Because most of the time its hard to get trust from people if they are just going through a page where they cannot measure if all the stuff included in it 100% genuine. You can entertain questions from them and give them suggestions as well.

Yes I believe so. Especially in this modern day fast paced world. It does create customer engagement which makes it more personal, less the inconvenience as compared to having to call and talk to someone over the phone for say informaton or assistance. Live chat gives quick short and direct responses which in the end makes the entire transaction more effective.

Live chat is not necessary because the costumers are not comfortable with it. They don't like that their faces will be seen by the operators. There is a replacement of this and it is text chat. Text chat is more powerful and effective tool on internet. The costumers are comfortable with it. They are not shy to share their questions adn there comments. I can recommend text chat than live chat to the website owner.

Yes, live chat is a must. Customers feel more important if they can talk to someone and have answers to their queries immediately. Sometimes even if they don't get the solutions right away but they was able to talk to somebody and share their frustrations at that moment still help ease or lessen the negative emotions they have towards the product or company itself.

Yes live chat is a must when it comes to a business you will always thinking of how can you make your customer happy i think part of it is live chat.

It is not a requirement but can be a very useful tool to be another medium of communication between the site owner and the visitor. If you're selling a product, it's a big factor. Take for example Shopee. If you click a certain product that you'd be interested, there is a chat provision if you want to negotiate with the seller or if you have an inquiry or complaint about the item.

Live chat can be ignored and it is not too important. You can have text chat which is I think it is more effective than the live chat. People are more comfortable on text chat way. There is a really need of it.

Livechat is is very important, especially today where customers are in need of immediate support when they are having difficulties with their services or products. Most of customers doesn't want their problems not to be fixed right away. Even me, I always need immediate resolution on my concerns and it makes me irate when it is not fixed right away.

I echo the "it's not important" posters it's NOT important but it's a nice way to get sales as the user can ask you questions without opening a ticket. It also helps on support issues as they don't need to open a ticket, but again not many people offer support on Live chat.

Livechat is not a must for hosting provider but i think is important to have livechat in case a client have an issue and needs the problem to be resolve on time, so with livechat the user will be able to chat with hosting company with ease instead of sending email.

Quick response is a great way to attract hosting customers. People love the real-time response and fast support. Live chat is something like that you can have a live conversation with your customers. And it increases conversion rate. So in case of hosting company, Live Chat is must.

From my personal experience I wouldn't say it's a "must" but it certainly does improve customer satisfaction and increase signups.
