Did any one hear of Amazon Route 53. How does it compare with Cloudflare or what is the difference between them?

Never used a dns provider?
I don't see any advantages from kind of this service.

waf = web application firewall or layer 7 protection is what some ddos protection may refer to if they protect at layer 7 web application level

For a personal user, I think Cloudflare is better as it's free.
However, if you have an existent business and the capital, I would recommend Route 53.
Do note that there was an incident back in February where Cloudflare leaked sensitive data across the Internet for months.
On that note, I have heard good feedback from friends who are using Amazon Web Services.
