Could any one recommend me some best paid control panel to manage VPS Linux servers? exclude cPanel because its price is pretty high and I could not go for its lifetime license then I would like to hear all your recommendations. Thanks

I used webmin, seem it was very simple and need more configurations to run websites on it after installed on the server...but also not sure it's more secure? and is it a free web panel if I don't remember wrong this.

DirectAdmin is actually a pretty decent one
as well, and the price is only about $30/mth
or $300 for a lifetime (last time I had checked
any way)

Other than those already mentioned, here are a
few additional ones you may want to look into.

  • BlueOnyx *
  • CentOS Web Panel *
  • Core-Admin
  • Froxlor *
  • iMSCP *
  • InterWorx
  • ISPConfig *
  • ISPmanager
  • Plesk
  • Sentora *
  • Vesta *
  • ZPanel *
Those with asterisks (*) by their names are
open-source, so very affordable ;)

You could get a VPS licence from cPanel for as little as $15 per month.

CentOS Web Panel is nice, as is DirectAdmin.

what about Directadmin, I used it on a shared but how if it is used for a VPS?

If I don't want to pay $15 per month, can I go for cPanel lifetime license?

Yes, cPanel is Love!
Yes it's popular and friendly with users.

webmin/virtualmin is good.
I tried to install webmin on a VPS but it's hard to use and I removed it.

I am using cPanel optimized with $19/mo from my hosting provider.

I vote for cPanel with more features and user-friendly interface.

If you want for personal use, then cPanel or Plesk may not be justified. So, if you want to resell webhosting and don't want too many headaches you should consider a paid solution as it is safer and you have more documentation!

On the other hand, for personal use you may give a try with ISPConfig!
I have used in the past and it is a complete and great solution for webhosting with a pretty nice community!
If you really want to sell web hosting with a free panel, you should know that ISPConfig can be configured in a cluster environment with centralized control of database, files, control panels and web servers!

Webmin / virtualmin is best. Webmin is free but Virtualmin have both free as well as paid version.

I think the best control panel is Plesk and DirectAdmin.
They give a perfect solution for yours website and dont have all the unless things like in CPanel.

Also you can easily backup and restore yours data, what you dont have in CPanel.

I'm recommending ISPmanager, again, for really cheap pricing, and the control panel itself is pretty clean looking, fast, reliable - what more could anyone possibly want? :rolleyes2:

I heard more about this panel and I installed it but to be honest I have not tried to use it as putting a website on it.
Do you have any good experience with this hosting panel?
