I have used Awardspace for years. I have around 20 domains. None of them generate any traffic worth mentioning. So I don't need a great deal of bandwidth.
Neither are any of them very large in disk space though together, now, they occupy more than awardspace is happy with - even though supposedly I have 'unlimited' space they now
do not backup my sites.
So with unlimited sites hosted and 'unlimited' space and email accounts and whatnot I've always found it suits me fine.
If ever a site becomes popular I'd have to negotiate with them for more bandwidth etc but that's unlikely and I'm generally happy.
But now my phpbb boards are not working. New registrations cannot receive the new reg email and therefore cannot respond to it and therefore cannot get an account.
So it may be that awardspace is crippling this, too. Maybe it is time for me to look for alternatives.
Are there any?
My few looks around in the past found nothing to suit me: I repeat, very cost effective home for at the moment about 20 sites with options like installing boards, many email accounts, etc..
Any ideas?
