Differences between desktop and mobile SEO?

Hello guys!
Can anyone tell me what are the differences between desktop SEO and mobile SEO? I do a research on google results and found that the results for desktop and mobile devices have got a bit more differences. What SEO factors made it different?

I think when you have more information about Mobile SEO then you can find out the differences between them. In this new era, mobile is the most friendly device for everyone. So, we need to understand about mobile seo success. Such as below..

1. Make sure your site is mobile friendly. I mean Responsive.
2. Make a sub domain or mobile app.
3. Optimized by Hummingbird.. Because "the algorithm is called to better deal with conversational queries, considering the growing number of mobile search users and voice searchers."
4. Add mobile URL information to a site map.

And these things are going to make difference between them.
