Hi everyone!

Just wondering, if you had to say the best 3 ways in your opinion for marketing your website, what would they be?

What do you get the most success from? Whether it be traffic, which traffic is the best for sales?

For me it's very much complicated to specify main 3 ways to promote / market website.
According to statistics, 80% of users find new websites through search engines, 55% of all purchases made on sites found through search engines, and most people only see the first page of search results, including the first sites of the leaders in the industry. It is therefore very important that the site is easily found in search engines by key searching or requesting. In turn, this means that the site should be optimized for search engine algorithms.
Website promotion in search engines - a number of measures aimed at achieving the highest position in the issuance of a key request.
Stages of website promotion:
Post unique contain in your website;
An adjustment of the current website search engine requirements;
Submit your website to search engines;
Event to promote the website;
Optimization of external factors rank pages;
Monitoring website positions and correction methods of website promotion;

Of course, if you are in a niche that has 1000 other affiliates reading this thread (and similar ones across the web) who will all optimize for seo, you will have poor chances of getting SE traffic. This is the problem in IM - that many people are doing the same things in the same niche and canceling out each other in the process.

The only way, in such case, is to do PPC advertising as this WILL put your site (link) on page one of a Search result.

I think that doing PPC (after SEO, of course) and leveraging the web for shares, social bookmarking and high traffic sites like Youtube, etc. will get you good natural traffic with buzz potential for your viral type of content. It should be the main focus (after QUALITY content) to promote the sharing of your posts to your traffic's social circles. This traffic would be the best traffic to ensure longevity of your website strategy at the lowest cost.

Hey there!

Well there's many... So it's really just testing and seeing what works for you!

But...

Here are my three :)

1) Forum Marketing - It's free & it's effective (like REALLY effective)

2) Solo Ads - As long as you have an autoresponder series that is strong enough to make your money back from the solo ad you purchased, this is by far my favorite way!

3) Guest Posting - Even on here (under the marketplace tab) there's a place where you can connect with people who want to have you as a guest post, but this is super effective because you're reaching an audience that is SUPER targeted, you're giving HUGE value to that audience through your post, and you are seen as an expert by THOUSANDS!!

Those are my 3.. There are others like PPC & SEO & SMM, Etc. I never liked those to much personally, but I have hired an expert in each of those areas and it turned out very well! So it really just depends what you like better personally, but usually it comes down to some kind of social media marketing, SEO, & PPC. Those are the basic ones everyone usually does one time or another and are most commonly heard about.

Anyways, hope this was helpful in some way or another :)

See you soon,

Adam

From my experience social media marketing is huge whether you're talking online or offline business. Adwords is great short term and in the long term search engine optimization.

To me I think that some methods might work better for certain types of sites and other sites might need other methods.

What has worked for me the best are these 3:

1. Social media, especially twitter

2. Guest Posting/Blogging

3. Advertising on websites or blogs that are highly related to the site I am marketing.
