I'm interested to see how many US marketers are bothering about the new EU VAT rules which require anyone selling digital downloaded products to any consumer in any EU country to charge and account for Value Added Tax (VAT) and whether people are even aware of the new regulations.
I see Australia and Japan are also planning a similar move. How many of you will prepare for that?
As a consumer in the UK I have recently come across several websites that have blocked access for EU residents and I would like to get an idea of how many of you might take that approach.
