Hello everyone,

I want to add each poll to each my blog post, asking relevant question and getting extra info.

Is it a good idea or that will become an odd thing?

Well I would say try it out... You're never going to know if it increases engagement until you try.... I do know quizzes work really well such as buzzfeed on social media so if your poll results can be shared or the data captured offers value/interest then go for it... If it doesnt work out then at least you have tried... You'll probably find that its the subject of the polls which matters...

Actually, that's a really good idea and something that is rare. So just as long as you can make it entertaining and most importantly, worth sharing then you have yourself a winner.

I say go for it, it's actually a great idea and I think with the right promotion and audience it will work well and go viral.

One tip I would give you is that: make it easy for the visitors do take the poll without jumping through a bunch of hoops and make it easy for them to engage. Also entice/encourage them to take the poll, engage or share by giving them bonuses/freebies.

I can already picture a big site with loads of companies fighting to buy it for its data/information

This is a type of idea that can also attract venture capitalists so go for it and be smart.

I like polls. It makes for another method of interaction in forum posts.

Easy, free, and can be fun and interesting to see the results.

Then again, I'm a bit of a numbers nerd. I love numbers, statistics, spreadsheets, etc so naturally I would enjoy polls too!

I would think if it is relevant to your site content it would be a good way to gather some data.

Adding poll or a short survey is a good strategy to interact with your market. People like to participate in polls especially if it will just require a little effort. It usually take the form of a simple voting on a particular subject or trending topic either connected or not related with the company, its products or contents but the main essence is to get general public opinion, approval rating, or simply to know the market better.

Results from polls are ways by which companies get direct insights of consumer thoughts and perceptions which may guide them in some of their future business decisions. Customers on the other hand feel the company giving them importance by getting their opinions.

Polls if tied up with a contest, reward or refer to vote program may draw excitement and trigger awareness which may lead to more visitors and potential leads.

Companies use polls as their subtle way of knowing the customer better or to gauge feedback related to the company. Polls if done creatively, may well serve as an entertainment piece for the visitor which may speak well for the company in terms of awareness and following with far reaching results. It is not add but a welcoming experience.

It's a good way to interact with your customer! For me, I would be quite attracted to the poll on your blog as you may know blog may sometimes be filled with too many words. So, the poll would definitely stand out.

I think it's an excellent idea. It encourages people to be more interactive. Personally, I like it when I have to vote for something. It makes me feel like my opinion counts for something. It also gives people a rough idea of what people think without having to read through the comments. It will also give you as the blog owner an idea, of what people think without also having to read the comments. Bottom line this is a good and fun idea.

Do you have traffic? If you do it on 10 blog posts and no one responds it's not worth it but if it increases engagement than ENJOY!

Yes. It is a great idea. It keeps your audience involve in your site. Plus, you may also use your polls for your next article as basis. I do not not know how to integrate it to your website though. Google+ might have some features that can help.

Definitely, agree with that. And I think using poll is a very great idea. Because it is the best way to interact with your readers and also to know their opinions after they read your blog. Unlike relying upon to just comments, polls and surveys for me are just more reliable and can be safer to avoid fake or spam comments againts your blog.

It is definitely a good idea. Allowing persons a chance to have their voices heard by casting a vote will get them involved. Yes I know there is a possibility to allow persons to comment on a post but personally I don't always have the time to comment. Simply clicking a button to give me a voice is sometimes much easier and faster.

It is a good that idea to add polls to your blog. Polls allow individuals to have their voices be heard through voting.
From that poll, you can make statistics through the data produced by individuals. It is also a way to interact with your customers always visiting on your blog.
