Are you really think that you will be able to compete and even beat websites that rank high for keywords that have high search volume?

Maybe it's better to try slow and first conquer the niche that it's more suitable for you or you are familiar with?

You can use Google keywords planner to get the the idea about the search volume and then base your niche on those keywords.

How to make money is pretty much the niche every webmaster dreams to get high rankings for.

If there was an easy way to spot a hot niche market, then don't you think everyone would do that, as it'd be a good business idea?
Unfortunately, that's kind of what it means to be an entreprenour. The ability to find a market that's lacking something, and adding that. No search engine will do that for you, unfortunately.

Sorry MightWeb, I must disagree.

Web hosting is a very popular, and extremely saturated market, but we still do it.

Finding a "hot niche market" does not have to be a untapped market. Even if others are actually doing it and it will be very hard to succeed in, does not mean it's not worth trying.

Find a niche that you think you can be successful at and be ready to put in the long hard hours to make your business success. Remember, choosing a hot niche market just gives you a small advantage. The niche won't make you successful, your hard work will.

Yes I think if it is a hot niche that everybody is focusing on, it means that the niche can indeed make money. But it will be silly to dive into the niche.

It is always wiser to carve out a sub niche as it can be more targeted and have better conversions.

One way to source out hot niches is to go to websites like Clickbank and look at the gravity scores of the products. The higher the score the hotter the product

Hot niches are everywhere in the real world. They're usually the most competitive too like weight loss and exercising for the weight loss niche. I could just look at television commercials or internet ads on YouTube to find "hot" niches. They're hard to rank and profit from though because of saturation.
