Plain image or image with description and price, which do you prefer?

I'm decorating my product box on my home page, I am wondering which is better when comparing between a plain image or image with description and price below it
Which do you prefer? Please share your view. Thanks

It's not down to preference, it's down to results and the only way to find out is by split testing.

The one thing you learn is that whatever you think will work best usually doesn't! The differences can be dramatic eg a headline that started "learn the secrets of ..." was changed to "discover the secrets of...". The discover version was three times as successful!

Whatever you do test, test and test again

Yes i agree that split testing is the most important. Never assume that one way is better than the other. One thing though, I seldom see prices being put on the product box on the internet. Not saying that it will not work, but its rare.
