Hi,
I have a question regarding landing page URL architecture. Should it go in a folder? should it be a sub-domain? what's the best approach?
What's the best approach?
Any and all advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Well I would say that it doesn't matter for many reasons which I will come on too and further it depends on the type of website...

In some cases if the purpose is only for lead capture then place it as the home page... If you are operating a blog then you may want to place it as a "special offer" page... You may also find that you are creating multiple landing pages partially for split testing or different pages with regards to many different ads which are on many different platforms etc - which in this case I place the landing page as a hidden page which is not accessed via the website navigation...

Therefore use your best judgement and stick with it...

landing page 99% of the time is the homepage or only page if you're doing sales and have one of those generic super long squeeze pages.

Actually, static (unchangeable) URL will be the SEO friendly URL. So, try to create your website URL structure based on your targeting keywords (products, business/services). Remember, targeting maximum number of keywords on a particular web page will never worth you more.
