Can you clarify what 'Guaranteed bandwidth which is never oversold' means in practice? For example, is the bandwidth fully dedicated, and what minimum speed can I expect during peak times?

Hello there!

This means if you purchase a server with 100TB of transfer you are guaranteed that traffic is reserved for you.

Example (numbers are just a raw example):
If a 1Gbit line can do 300TB/month there would not be 4, 5, 6 customers on that same shared connection offered 100TB/month, generally capacity is sold to approximately 50% capacity. So if a 10gbit line can support 3000TB/mo we would generally sell server packages up to 1500TB/mo on that connection etc. But keep in mind that on a shared connection you should not expect to pull that entire monthly limit in a short time example: 24 hours, etc., if you used 0 bandwidth until your last day you could not realistically expect to pull 100TB in one day on a 1gb connection, you are still limited by fair sharing that shared connection. For example if you had a 300TB limit on a 10gbit connection you could expect to get a consistent 1Gbps and burst up to 10Gbps, if you have 100TB on a 1gbit you could expect a consistent 300mbit with bursts to 1gbps depending if others are using etc.

On an oversold package/provider you could have 50 people sharing a 10Gbit connection etc., or a provider who sells 5000TB on a line that can only support 300TB.

Unless you purchase a dedicated line the speeds themselves are not guaranteed, but the transfer is reserved. On a actual dedicated port you would have full access to speed/transfers etc.
