Comments are important for every blog, as it allows to interract with your blog and you can get valueable feedback on your content. As you use wordpress it will be easy to get rid of spam messages, as there is plenty of plugins to filter spam. For example you can try askimet or CleanTalk.

Good luck in blogging :ertery:

Yes sir, you should allow comments section on your blog. It's the best way to interact with your viewers. Interactions with wider audiences make your blog become popular. Recommending your blog by someone else means a lot so you don't have to snub your viewers by disabling your comments sections. Just show a little appreciation by interacting with them.

I allow comments on my blog, but I definitely require them to be approved before they are posted due to the high levels of spam I receive.

Comments are a great way to interact with your readers and build a loyal following, so they are more inclined to keep coming back.

Blogs are more social than ordinary websites, so if you aren't planning on engaging with your audience then perhaps a blog isn't the type of site you are wanting to build.

Allowing comments on your blog does not mean you will receive a lot of negative comments about your site. You can think of it is a way to improve your craft in writing. Some will add suggestions, while others will compliment your topics or your blog per se. For me, it does not matter if I allow comments area on my blog site.

Definitely yes, because having a comment section on your blog will help you to determine if your blog site is working or not. Having a comment section is one way to communicate to all your readers, visitors and viewers. As a blogger, comment section is your window to see all your subscribers because if you have a comment section they can easily say what they want to say on your blog. They can say if they love your work or not. The bad thing is you can also we unfiltered harsh comment, but it is normal just look on the positive side of reading harsh comment, because you can also get some advice from this to improve more your content.

You want to build traffic to your blog

As a writer you are looking for someone to acknowledge your work. This can take hard work, dedication, and persistence if you really want it. Building a blog website can only benefit you if you are able to drive traffic. Give an opportunity for people to give an opinion on your work can only create traffic. They are going to the blog, reading, and respond with their thoughts. Sadly we as people must realize when we do this that there are people in the world who are negative and will say negative things, we must ignore those. Giving an honest opinion with quality criticism to help growth and improvement for a person can benefit their future endeavors. It is important to allow comments driving traffic to the site helping to get your writings noticed.

There are both pros and cons:
Pros:
- Your visitors will effectively add content to your page which also gets indexed in google.
- Google can use the amount of comments as a measure for the quality of your post

Cons:
- You need moderate and rewrite low-quality comments
- many spammers use your comment section for spamming

I think the best approach is to disable the auto comment feature and make a decision about each comment yourself.

Hi there,

I'm building a blog base on wordpress, I built some blogs last time but too more spams on comments thus I must disable blog comment fuction. So anyone give me any advice, should I allow comments on my blog for guest blogging?

And additional question, which is benefits of blog comments if I get more comments on each blog article ?
Of course you should have comments on your blog! Not only does this improve your visibility on search engines but it also gives people a reason to come back to the same blog post! This would make it fun for both you(if you love your blog topic) and for your readers if you actively engage in conversations. There are many blogs that I frequented only to read the comments. It could be a reader telling us his experiences, witty remarks, comment discussions that are longer than the actual blog post and, in the case of story blogs, theories. Beautiful theories from some very creative minds.

I would agree with the other users in saying that using a moderation queue is much better than using reCAPTCHA or similar systems. Two of the things that deter me from posting on a blog is having to "verify that I'm human" and having to create an account for possibly only one post. When moderating posts remember to be unbiased. Allow every post that is in relation to or adds to the topic. This could be something that you disagree with. But that doesn't mean you should reject it. Accept it and have a healthy discussion with the poster. Reject all posts that are either off topic or offensive.

When you engage in conversations with your readers, try to be polite and open-minded. Nudge conversations along but don't reply to every post. I know this is a bit late but I hope this helps anyone reading this!

You should definitely allow commenting on your blog as it creates a sense of engagement among the community of readers. It is also a great way to get to know people who have similar interests and experiences.

For me, it would be best to allow comments on your blog for the reason that you will learn something even if this is negative comments. You can do this when you have that strong "objective" goal. I have met few bloggers who really take all comments whether positive or negative or plainly derogative comments. They just say, "well, that's your opinion. And you are entitled to your freedom of expression." They actually gain thousands of followers who actually engaged in a discussion regarding politics and other subjects. One blogger I know and I actively interract with is a blogger that has a million followers who are actually engaging in her comment, like, share section. Of course, "spam" is a different matter. I hate spam. I think most of us do.

Yes. It would help you build connection and rapport with your readers. This would also help in making your blog popular. Getting positive and negative feedbacks from the comment section would definitely make you better with what you do. In that way you will be able to know or have an idea what the readers wanted and how you can improve your blog.
