I've been running this news website for quite some time.
However, there seems to be not quite a good number of participants yet joining the site.
I was wondering if you guys can take a look at the site source the news.com and share your views, and suggestions if possible.

Thanks.

Just visited your website and I can give you any ideas to improve site:
- logo is not good, "the News" word in logo need to be redesigned.
- Url need to rewrite for friendly with search engines.
- add description to homepage to present main propose of your website because I don't understand your website meanings
- Change website paging to Load more using Jquery, It will be better than current.

I have to agree. If I may add on a few other suggestions as well:

You seem to have a direction for the site but it seems to lack the visual appeal to make someone want to vote on anything. Try taking a look at Helium.com or other sites that allow debates. Influence your audience to debate specific topics. It seems you've tried to create some poll system that escapes the ability to fully give your opinion.

The layout is ...eh.

Also I would suggest doing a bit more marketing to bring in authentic traffic for these debates once you've made the changes that Jack London has so generously provided.

This is a really good observation. Thank you for that.

Actually, the goal of the site is to allow users/visitors to have an unbiased information dashboard. This is done by evaluating the news to determine which positions are taken in a particular article and if there are any logical fallacies made in those positions. Positions are considered a theory if there are no studies backing them up. If there is evidence that supports a position, than those are entered into the system as evidence and linked to the positions.

Thank you Jack for the suggestions.

It sounds like I really need to make some changes on the site. That would entail another expenses to be made.
I think the url and description look presentable enough.
