Yes, it is possible that Google may take some time to remove old pages from their search index and index your new pages. This is because Google's search algorithm is designed to crawl and index websites periodically, and it may take some time for your site to be crawled and indexed after you submit it to Google Search Console.

In addition, if there are old pages from the previous domain owner still appearing in search results, it could be because those pages are still accessible and indexed by Google. To speed up the process of removing those old pages, you can use the "Remove URLs" tool in Google Search Console to request that Google remove them from their index.

However, keep in mind that it can take some time for Google to process these requests and remove the old pages from their index. In the meantime, focus on creating high-quality, relevant content for your site and continue to optimize your site for search engines to improve your chances of being crawled and indexed by Google.

Hi:) Allow Google at least a week to index your site. Sometimes it may take even longer. Nothing to worry about.

If you are talking about 2 or 3 pages then invite for page indexing from google search console and it will hardly take a day. For more number of pages submit your sitemap and google may take 3 to 4 days. For removing old pages from google search results - use google search console's Removals Tool.
To do above things you must have added your property (domain) in search console.

It's not uncommon for Google to take a few days to index a new website after it has been submitted to Google Search Console. So, there is no need to worry just yet. However, it's also worth noting that Google's indexing process can take longer depending on various factors such as the size and complexity of the website, as well as the number of pages.

Regarding your concern about the old pages still showing up in Google search results, it's possible that these pages are still in Google's cache and need to be re-crawled and re-indexed. This can take some time, and there's no guarantee that the old pages will be removed immediately. However, you can speed up the process by using the Google Search Console's URL removal tool to request the removal of these pages.

In the meantime, make sure that your website is properly optimized for search engines by using relevant keywords, providing high-quality content, and having a clear website structure. This can help your website rank higher in search results and increase your chances of being indexed more quickly.

I hope this information helps! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to ask.
