You can install a plugin in WordPress in a number of ways. The best way to install a plugin is to use the WordPress Admin Dashboard which allows you to install plugins automatically.

1. Login to your WordPress admin dashboard.

2. Under the dashboard menu, hover your mouse over "Plugins" and click on "Add New".

3. In the "Search Plugin" box, enter the name of the plugin you wish to install, such as "Jetpack", and press enter.

4. The available plugins matching the keyword "Jetpack" will appear. Click on the "Install" button which appear next to the plugin"s name.

5. The installation can take a few minutes. Once it is complete, it will display the "Activate" option. Click on it to activate your newly installed plugin.

Note: The newly activated plugin will show in the sidebar menu. If a plugin requires a setup, it will display an option to complete it. Congrats now you know how to install a wordpress plugin to your website. A huge number of plugins are available free and some are paid.

If you have any questions feel free to let us know.

Thanks!

Install some plugins. Using plugins in WordPress is going to make your site more professional. Plugins will also help your site be found by the search engines.

Many plugins are available. Some are standard or "needed." Others are the preference of individuals.

The needed plugins are Askimet, All In One SEO Pack, and Google XML Sitemap. Others that will help your site are Contact Form, Ping Optimizer, AdSense Ads, Privacy Policy, and so many more.

The question becomes, how do I install these plugins? That is very simple.

Begin by signing in to your admin or Dashboard. On the left you will see an option to click for Plugins. Once you click that, all of your plugins will be visible. Now you can click the "add new" and a screen will come up for you to search for a plugin.

If you know the exact name of the plugin you are searching, you can type that into the search box and WordPress will find it for you. If it is a WordPress plugin, it will be found immediately. You may also find some additional choices. For example, if your type in Privacy Policy, you may find several options. Pick the one you want and then click on "Install" on the right side of the page.

WordPress will automatically install this plugin on your blog. You are then given the option of activating that plugin or returning to the install page again.

While the information about how to install plugins is good, this list of "needed" plugins is not really right at all.

  • Akismet is installed by default and is useful if you are allowing comments on posts, but otherwise can be disabled.
  • All in One SEO is fine, but there are several other SEO plugins that are as good or better (very subjective and you'll find strong opinions), my personal favourite is The SEO Framework.
  • Google XML Sitemap is not needed at all, because WordPress now includes one as part of the default installation.
  • There are many form plugins, pick what works best for you, I prefer Fluid Forms.
  • Ping Optimiser hasn't been updated for quite a long time and isn't something you need to worry about really.
  • AdSense - most sites do not need ads at all, if you do then there are a lot of options.
  • Privacy Policy - I didn't even know this plugin existed, just publish a WP page with your privacy policy on it, WP actually provides one as a 'draft', you just need to edit and publish it.

This is exact!
I only use some plugins that specialize for my site works, the rest I don't like using plugins if I can use codes instead, that will save more resource for web.

You can find a hosting company and order a VPS with fully managed support. They will install any plugin in no time for you.
