Paypal Safe 2020?

So I saw this news for a week now nothing new or updated https://www.techradar.com/news/paypal-bug-let-hackers-defraud-google-pay-users basically Paypal has gotten hacked and I wanted to register (Make a Paypal) account so I wanted to if its still safe to use today now with this news any suggestion with something newer to paypal out there?

From the start we are using PayPal without any issue. They have superb resolution team if any thing goes wrong and protect seller against wrong refunds claims, you just need to justified if your client claim is against your selling policy the they close such cases in your favor.

There is bugs here and there all the time and on every payment gateways not just paypal, personally I trust paypal I'm using them for many years and I never had any problem.

It goes without saying but nothing is perfect or can prevent issues. Not even paypal can prevent itself from being hacked, but I do agree they have a great team and is a service you want to trust.

Hi guys thanks for the feedback I just one more question how does Tax work on it is PayPal Taxable or does it only work if I selling something Ie Buy now or Subscription and not donations?
