I am just curious to find out how many of you guys still running websites, I know lots of you do but it’s interesting to know. Also do you have more than one? I have 2 websites now and planning to open new websites. What about you? any shares?,

Ahh, well let's see... I personally have six right now. Four companies, a Blog, and a feeder site.

I'm highly interested in hosting a website with video content. Some of you were around before cloud computing and SAN storage was all the rage (pre 2000s). When I floated the idea back then, there was a significant cost association with the hardware piece. I'm thinking that the guys at Youtube were either very smart, or very lucky...ballsy or a combination of the three. I'm noticing that a lot of guys (or gals) have a mixed stable of platforms. Could someone drop some science on why you would end up with 6 or 12 sites? Strategy? Obsession? I know that security and speed are some constraints. How do you guys structure your stuff so that you could do both effectively? Cloud based solutions? Hybrid?

I have more websites but I am only concentrating on main websites which are giving more profits. I can not care all because I don't have enough time, maybe I will need to hire some people that can help me to solve simple works on my websites :)

Personally, I just run a single niche site. I find it easier to manage a single website. However, I have plans for managing additional sites in the future. It all depends on an individual. For example, you have enough cash to manage the websites then do it. Nonetheless, hard work and returns should reciprocate.

I want to know what is it like to own multiple websites and manage them? How much time do you spend doing so and is it hard?
I'd imagine it doubles your daily routine with extra tasks or you just leave them hanging checking them out once in a while?
