I am starting a new forum for helping newbies about their Wordpress site but the problem is I want to choose a domain that including word "forum" in it, that will tell exactly what my site is about, I'm being confused should I have forum or forums on the domain? What are better and good for me? any advice?

I would suggest, ask your SEO to check the rank of both keywords, forum and forums. The keyword which has top rank, go with it. IN SEO point of view, you have lots of competitors because forum keyword is used by number of users so while doing SEO , follow the all rules of it to get top rank.

If you are talking about SEO aspect then forums will work better because more people tend to use "forums" when searching keywords on Google
but for domain names, "forum" will work better because it is easy to remember and don't miss character "s" in "forums"

Use the word forum because the singular term is usually the one that is used as a title. Best of luck on your endeavors! I hope it will do well.

I agree you should look at it in terms of SEO and do your research. However, I tend to lean on the side of the forums. I'm not an SEO expert by any means. Place yourself in the shoes of whoever is conducting the search. From your explanation, your website will probably be used by people who want to set up a WordPress site and are looking for information on this. Most people will probably search for forums on how to set up a WordPress site because they want information from more than one source. If you use forums it will help your website rank higher.

I would suggest to use forum. From the consumer's perspective, I would typically search for forum instead of forums.

+1 for forum. It's also common to use word 'talk' after the target keyword, e.g. someimportantstufftalk.com
