Please review my website about accounting

Hi there! Since I joined this forum, I have been very keen on sharing my website here in order for it to be reviewed by you guys. But I had to iron some things out first. Now that everything has been set, I now present to you my website that's centered around accounting and business - https://cpacamp.org. This website primarily caters to accountancy students but is also good for business minded people as well.

There are still a lot of things that need to be done in the site. It still needs a lot more articles, the footer still lacks content.... And others.

I hope that you'll provide honest reactions and recommendations on how to improve my site in the long run. Thank you in advance!

Hi, I'm an accounting student, currently studying in Oxford and your website really interests me.

I just had a look and it really looks promising, people can tell you put effort in it. I really liked reading the "Why you should trust us?" section and I would probably be interested in taking accounting lessons sometime in the future.

I'm in the second year of my studies and so I have already some knowledge, but if I had to choose one of your lessons which one would you suggest taking?

Overall, beautiful website. Right away, the viewer is drawn into the key facts. I find the concise message "Welcome to CPA Camp. Your complete guide to Business, Finance, and Accounting." extremely effective; it lets the reader know the purpose of the website right away.

However, this wouldn't be an honest critique if I only told you about the pros, wouldn't it?

Here's some constructive criticism that will (hopefully) be well worth your time:

1. Try to make the footer's CSS styling (if you didn't design the website, CSS is basically the visual aspect of creating websites) match the rest of the website. Every other part of it has great animations and seems modern, but the footer seems to be lacking in both content as well as aesthetics.

2. The Menu (Also known as Navbar) - Of course, the parallax scrolling with the beautiful animations certainly make the accounting website seem far more professional, but unfortunately it makes the weaker portions of the website stand out much more. Similar to the footer, I think that you should improve and work on the menu's CSS styling and design. Moreover, I don't really find a "search" bar necessary.

Anyways, that's about it as far as website design goes. I'm really sorry I couldn't give you any advice on the actual content, since it's not my field of expertise anyways. Again, overall, it's a really strong and well-designed website, but I think with a few finishing touches it could be much better.

May be you could delete the footer note and add a copyright notice. On the homepage "go to homepage" button looks unimportant. Remove this if you can, or replace with different option. I liked your overall design.

I love it! Especially the cartoon image for " Team Admin ", very attractive! My thoughts when I saw that " So precise, wish you could draw me too ".

I really like your website! Makes me want to learn more about accounting.

The only thing is like you said the footer does lack content.

Looks nice and clean but i'd do a few edits at the bottom. Maybe center the buttons, add your social links to your social icons, add more content and reviews to give it that finishing touch.

In my perception, here's what can i say:

A. Above the Fold (text, images and videos):
*The text of the website are readable, not too big and not to small. The font use is not that too complicated to be seen.
*Images use is very clear to see but some of it is not that related in the what the website is all about.
*The website has its own grip on what the site looks like.

It has different section where to find different information like the Home button, Quizzes, Q and A, for CPA reviewers, Business Section and CPA shop. This makes the website more organize.

B. Content:
1. Information:
*The content is very informative but t is not enough. For Accounting website it must provide a complete information to be able to pace with the advancement of accounting.
*The website has lack of updates.

2. Quizzes:
*The content of the quiz might be not that effective because for every topics it includes same 10 questions in every different users. Maybe I suggest that the questions might change because accounting is a very wide lesson so so the questions would not just focus on that.

3. The website is good in promoting their website by putting social buttons like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

C. Missing content:
* In the home section it includes Accounting Lessons button that says Select a topic in which it locates you to the Financial Accounting, Advance Accounting, Managerial Accounting Auditing and Taxation wherein in the same way when you click the CPA reviewers but Miss out some topics. The click functions of the website are not functioning well. I guess that there is a lack of consistency behind the script found in this website. It’s a bad point in a customers point of view.
*Some of the buttons are not compatible for what the readers to be expected. It miss lead the location. Especifically the CPA shops but it give as interesting facts it makes the reader disappointed because they expect to show some reference books that are selling reader disappointed because they expect to show some reference books

Overall the website provide a good quality of information but lack of improving the content/updates
