I'm suggesting that you should definitely keep using WHMCS, cause the switching may not work out as expected + you have already learned WHMCS and its functionality. Might cause some headache to switch billing systems, move everything, and learn about a new piece of software.

WHMCS = Worst, most vulnerable, 100000 of bugs no matter any update, Errors on plugins and everything VERY bad you cant imagine. They have WORST supports in the world. STILL I'M SUING THEM. Why? because my payments gateway and other nice plugins I have to use are only supports WHMCS. :bash:

blesta = Average. But blesta has the experienced support team so grate.. maybe in future I'll use you

I agree with most people when I say WHMCS is a great choice for billing. However, if you're on a tight budget, Blesta is also a great option.

Haven't used Blesta actually so my vote here is for WHMCS

I've been using Blesta for three years now and overall I'm very happy with it. I've found it's easier to work with, where with WHMCS it took a lot more work to get everything setup how I wanted it.

I will say Blesta does lack plugins compared to WHMCS and depending on what your requirements are that can be a problem unless you have the money to have something custom made. One example until recently Blesta didn't have a mass mailer so this made some extra work on my part but since 4.0 it's now supported.

I would say if your an older provider switching would be a huge pain in the butt however if your new I'd check out Blesta or do so while your still small.

Although I really did like Blesta when I tested it, it is still lacking in some functionalities. I also like the new integration with cPanel and WHMCS so that is why I personally advise it.

We are using WHMCS as billing software for last 6 years, and recommend everyone to use the same. As WHMCS is really good in maintaining their security updates, theme updates and customization, payment gateway modules and billing management.

I try blesta for few days but there are few module. WHMCS has more community and more module, infac for new website i choose again whmcs.

WHMCS has been okay for us. I've not tried Blesta personally but I've heard good things about it. Word is it is not as feature-rich as WHMCS but has great potential.

WHMCS has the most features and modules and addons. That said, its not open source, so editing it out for your needs is EXTREMELY difficult. Also WHMCS struggles a lot on multi currency payment.

Blesta is open sourced, but lacks a lot of features ( Very basic ones sometimes ). Also accounts / emails etc are done on the cron job timings, so everything isnt as instant.

Both are very slow in getting updates out, especially Blesta.
Blesta is a lot cheaper too !

WHMCS is the leader and a very solid and powerful solution, however we prefer Blesta. For sure it's not perfect and as some said miss a lot of features, but we like to support small companies doing good stuff and Blesta do what 95% of small hosting companies need. good luck!

After using WHMCS for a while it would be a challenge to move to an other system, the new system would say they have an transfer component to create it simple but to understand the new system would devote a while, I would rather remain put and keep using what I have been for now.

would suggest go with WHMCS. You will get lots of option to manage various things related to billing as well as other things too. It is easy to install and manage. We use it from too many years without any hassle.

The automate billing reduces your time. It is very user friendly and secure way of billing.
