Many VPS hosting companies give you options on how you want your VPS configured. Is it better to go with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Directadmin or some other options? I would hear your advice on which way should we choose? why?
The VPS hosting in my mind should start with 4GB of RAM which allows us install hosting panels completely and other services.
If its a Windows VPS Plesk is your only choice (of the three mentioned)

Another vote for cPanel for various reasons:
1. It makes it much easier for you to handle migrations. Most providers offer or at least, support cPanel making migrations much easier.

2. It offers more tools / features within WHM which you can use to manage your server. If you're not at all strong in command line, this will be very useful.

Linux: Go for cPanel
If you want Windows, Plesk.

I would suggest DirectAdmin as more stable solution. It has all the necessary functions.

I guess a lot depends on what you're used to already. I've been using cPanel for years and have yet to try Plesk. Given the comments here, that may change.

Cpanel is good option if you not really tech savvy. Their support is good to assist you .

Directdmin , one time cost will save you a lot. But many of DA administrator job need to do by Linux Admin. If you know Linux can use DA for cost saving.

I recommend to use Plesk because of better UX
What is better UX of Plesk? Has it got a responsive theme control panel?

I think cPanel is the preferred option.
Yes cpanel is pouplar and being used more for clients.

I never use Windows hosting but if I have an opportunity with it, I will choose Plesk for this reason.

Exactly, I check Directadmin pricing, its pricing is good to have a lifetime license.
cPanel is expensive but it is easy to use for users.

Yes, if you have little of Linux Knowledge for software update, intalling antispam, antivirus for server , You can choose Directadmin.

I personally like DA, you have more room to work out your own script, and one more thing, DA configuration store in text base only, Migration to another server is pretty straight forward, copy over the config to new server then is done.

If you are familiar with Linux then you might as well not use any of them. However, if you aren't familiar much with Linux then it is better to go with cPanel. It is more User Friendly than the remaining two. You also have free alternatives like Webmin, Centos Web Panel.

I would also vote for cPanel as I consider it more easy to use. The shared hosting that I'm currently using also includes free Let's Encrypt certificates, and a variety of one-click web applications like Drupal, SiteMush Website Builder and a lot more.

Really? How long have you tried to perform the same things on Plesk? What is your Plesk experience? Have you heard about great WordPress Toolkit on Plesk? Is there something similar in cpanel?

I love Plesk but CPanel is what customers want, we have three locations and used to offer both CPanel & Plesk in all of these locations with the same package prices and features. Due to lack of demand we were forced to drop Plesk meanwhile the CPanel services continue to sell.

On my own sites I don't bother with a panel.

So to answer your question, it depends. If you plan on selling shared hosting I'd recommend choosing CPanel, if you plan on using it for personal use I'd go with Plesk. If you plan on using it for production use and want to make the most of your resources I'd go without a panel.

Another thing to bare in mind is the licensing costs, whilst CPanel and Plesk are very similarly priced at the high end, Plesk also offer cheaper licenses for less domains, which could benefit small or personal users.

What's right for me may not be right for you and vice versa. Try all of them and choose yourself, they all offer free trials.

@IgorG

Is Plesk offering a lifetime license?
I checked it on the website but didn't have an option for this.

Why I login into a FTP account (used Plesk - Web Admin) I can see other accounts in its root?
It is not good if I share an account to a member in my team.

Please read more about permanent license here - https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/a...-linux/introduction-to-plesk/licensing.68634/

Plesk Web Admin edition hasn't subscription management https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213903085
So, all domains are created under one account with corresponding sys_user (ftp account) which has access to all domains.

As the possible solution - using Plesk edition with subscriptions management. After that, you can create separate subscriptions with own ftp account for your domains.
