Which database management tool do you prefer the most? phpMyAdmin or Adminer? If Adminer is better then I want to know reasons why. I used phpMyAdmin all the time on my hosting and it is a must to manage databases. What about you?

I'm more of a phpMyAdmin guy because it's been there from my first touch to the internet and I'm familiar with it. I see no necessity to change it.

in the question "what are the best MySQL admin PHP interface?"
Adminer is ranked first while PhpAdmin is ranked second.

The most important reason people choose adminer is : it supports several database management systems (Postgres, SQLite, Oracle, MS Sql and of course MySQL).

But still most of peoples are using Phpmyadmin including me.

It really comes down to who is using it. Most people are familiar with phpMyAdmin, but for situations where issues are beyond normal, Adminer works perfectly since it can be thrown in a folder and used right away.

What about Adminer? Why I have never heard of it before.
I only see phpMyAdmin on my cpanel hostng and I used it for my website, it is a good database management, easy to use and import/export mysql files.

It really comes down to who is using it. Most people are familiar with phpMyAdmin, but for situations where issues are beyond normal, Adminer works perfectly since it can be thrown in a folder and used right away.
It is possible to have both phpmyadmin and adminer on a same server?
Does adminer help improving performance for mysql server database?
