I think the fees for business accounts are a bit smaller. If you don't have a business account you should look into that. Apart from this there is nothing more you can do to lower fees.

is it so? I thought transactions fees for paypal business will be more than the transaction fees for personal account. This is what a friend of mine told me when she switched to business account from personal account. I am yet to try business account and I am doing business through personal account.

I think the only way to lower PayPal fees is by a large amount revenue processed by PayPal. Simply put the more they make out of you the better rate you will get.

You CAN have lower Paypal fees but it will only work for purchases of under $10. Paypal has a plan called "Micropayments" and it will have lower fees on charges of up to about $10 then after that it gets more expensive. I have one Paypal account setup for this but I had to contact support to have them change it to this pricing model.

They do have another option for flexible payments but I have not dealt with that as of yet. That one will use the micropayments model up to $10 then revert to their standard pricing model.

The only way I see Paypal not charging you any fees is by sending the payment as a gift to family & friends.

If you are using WHMCS, I recommend trying the PayPal Deluxe addon. I personally use this and it completely removes the fees. Works fine for me and has a five star rating on WHMCS's website.
