How can I get Quality Backlinks from other websites? I don't want to buy links as many websites suggest. I would rather build backlinks on my own which can boost traffic on my websites. Any suggestion?

Google has put a stop to the shady link building methods people were using to help their SEO efforts and will penalize sites which raises flags.
Google likes to see natural organic growth, building back links on forums or any site which is relevant to your content. It's not easy and requires constant work, just get your links where you can.

If you don't want to buy backlinks from websites then it is hard and requiring you more time to build quality backlinks.
I would recommend building backlinks on relevant forums/blogs, guest blog posts.

Some excellent links from bknights there!

The best way is when fans of your site link to your site as it doesn't get any more natural than that. You can also exchange links with related sites. In addition to that, you can also use tools to find ways of getting more relevant linkbacks to your site. Just don't make them look spammy.

I don't think google is penalizing for shady backlink methods. I see one web hosting review website that ranks at the top for just about every hosting keyword phrase there is. The site is nothing but a bunch of aff. links a about 5 crappy articles. They have 147 backlinks and no one would link to this site naturally. The links I checked no longer existed, so they are deffinately using shady methods.

It seems like a long process in the beginning. Work hard everyday patiently, get deep and create quality article and share among social media network , social bookmarking sites. Trust me that is the best thing and while it takes time, but it wont be temporary success like you get with spammy link building.

Reach out to Blogs in your nice. Provide a Guest Post and drop you're link. Google frowns upon it but it still works well in 2016. It can take a while to find someone who replies to your email and they may even charge you a fee however, if you submit a quality post they often do this for free.

Do you have some good quality content on your website? If so then you can try to do some good ole' social media content marketing and try to get some backlinks that way.

You can also reach out to related sites and inquire about obtaining backlinks from them. Just don't go at them wrong.

Guest posting can also be a good way to gain some backlinks for your site that you can look into.

There are many way, it just depends on what you are wanting backlinks for and how much time you have to gain them.

This works but it depends on your luck, because no more bloggers are allowing guest posts on their sites or it is very hard to achieve that.

I am sure this does not help because links on social media are nofollow and you can get quality backlinks from them.

The best you can do, is think everything naturally, the best your services are, the more your users will make healthy posts and reviews about you. Google has smart algorithms that lately are making really hard to judge what is "good" or "bad" quality for it.

I would suggest you to give the outreach technique a try. Make sure that you do not use the same templates for mailing the guest blog owners, as they are already aware with this stuff. The broken link building also works like a charm.

Great idea not to build too many low quality website links. But if you can select high pr, niche relevant with high alexa website then of course this will helpful for your website. So, try to find out niche relevant website first.
