I am using Plesk Onyx but it doesn't have Fail2ban. How can I install it on Plesk or do I need to install it on my CentOS 6 instead?

It always requires more configurations and time to setup from commands, I failed to install Fail2ban using this way last time when I could not successfully install it.
I am expecting a way like an addon of Plesk that I can enable Fail2ban from my Plesk hosting panel by clicks.

Tools & Settings > Updates & Upgrades > Add or Remove Components > Fail2ban

I am wondering why Plesk didn't offer CSF/LFD firewall in the list above.
Is it not good as Fail2ban?

CSF is a great option and as bundled with the LFD (login failure daemon) goes past fail2ban in all-round features... but you are correct, CSF is not currently an option available in the Plesk extensions directory (perhaps because they already have the Plesk Firewall to go with fail2ban, so don't feel it was worth doing).

However, if you install Imunify360 (the full version, as opposed to the antivirus only version Plesk usually pushes forward), you can install CSF with that. Read more about it here in the i360 manual... https://docs.imunify360.com/ids_integration/#csf-integration

Installing Fail2ban on Plesk is as easy as checking a box? I always thought it would be harder than that. I am new to VPS setup though. ;)

Not only Fail2ban but other components can easily install in Plesk Onyx with some clicks.
I tried this hosting panel last month but it's really a good hosting control with low price.

Step 1
Login to your account

You need to login to your Plesk Onyx control panel, which will be at a URL similar to https://your_server_number.xenserve.com:8443/

Step 2
Select 'Tools & Settings'

Login and Click on the 'Tools & Settings' option, in the left-hand menu.

Step 3
Choose 'Updates and Upgrades'

This will bring up a list of categories.

Locate the heading 'Plesk', then click on the option 'Updates and Upgrades'.

Step 4
Choose 'Add/Remove Components'

This will open a new tab or window. Simply click on the option labelled 'Add/Remove Components'.

Step 5
Install Fail2ban

From the list of available updates and upgrades, location 'Fail2ban', click on the down arrow button, and choose 'Install'.

The scroll to the bottom of the list, and click on the button labelled 'Continue'.

Now, Fail2ban is installed, you can track the progress of the installation via the operations log provided on screen.
