What is difference between client area contact information and domain name contact (whois information) ?

How to manage my domain name whois record?

Hi Marin

By client area I assume you mean the login portal you use with your hosting provider to access your account ?
If you want to make changes to the whois record you will need to update the domain information for your domain control panel with whoever you registered the name with.

You are not very clear as to what you are asking. Your hosting account client area contact information and domain registration contact information are separate things.

After registering your domain name, you can change all contacts or just one of them, that are:
Registrant contact
Administrator contact
Technical contact
Billing contact

Some web billing systems will use your account info when registering a domain name. Some also let you change this information directly from the client area, of the web host billing software. It also depends on what registrar and plugin they are using to interface with the registrar. Some registrar api's just don't work with web host billing software so everything has to be done by hand.
