How to choose a best VPS for running cPanel?

Sometimes I wanted to switch a new VPS hosting for better specs. I like to use cPanel on my VPS but wondering what are requirements for a VPS to run cPanel? what hosting features should I have on my VPS to run cpanel best?

You would need CentOS 6+, CloudLinux, or RHEL 6 or 7, or Amazon Linux with minimum of 1-2 GB RAM. while 2GB is enough, it will barely support your website so consider using 4+GB

NOTE: please look out for the compatibility between the virtual environment and your OS.

Features: you want to have good caching, as I mentioned RAM, SSD drives and also always consider how much storage you will need as its not only your files that will take up space but so is the OS and Cpanel.
