My team's hosting has recently had to deal with some large scale traffic that we didn't know its source. We have eventually setup a firewall to protect from IPs that attacking on the VPS but seem it didn't get more effective. The reason to open this thread is to ask fellow web hosting providers on how to detect if my VPS hosting is getting a DDOS attack or bot traffic? At the same time I'm interested to listen to your guides and are there any tools or ways to detect and stop these problems. Thanks you all guys!
