Detect what make your VPS/website downtime

Hello,

I check my website and see today was downtime 30 minutues, How i can check why this happens ? I use Wordpress on cPanel and OS is CentOS 6.6 (64bits)

Hi CraigM,

you should use a monitoring tool. So you will be able if there is anything anormal when you website is down.
This with NIXStats , it monitor you domain but also your VPS so it will be easy to see what is the problem

Or you could contact your provider and ask directly :) Your provider is the only one who will can answer any downtime issues.

I am sure this hard to happen because most of hosting providers will not want to share bad points from your host for you know. Unless its downtime by their server maintenance.

Hello,

If you want to know why and if you're on a dedi check system logs.
If you're on a shared hosting only your host knows, in that case ask support team.
