1. .xml sitemaps are for search engines to crawl and index your sitemap. And, html sitemaps are for users who are visiting your site for proper navigation.
2. There is no fixed time for google spiders to crawl your site. It depends solely upon the facts that how much quality inbound links you have and how frequently your site gets updated.
3. You can submit your new or updated page urls to Google through Google Webmasters tool via 'Fetch as Google.' It will fasten up the process a bit.
4. Which sitemap you are asking about??

Agreed. A sitemap is a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.

I Just Answer for 3 question of you and 4 i will wait another people

1) what is the difference between xml and html sitemap? which is more benefit for SEO?
XML is the acronym from Extensible Markup Language (meta-language of noting/marking). XML is a resembling language with HTML. It was developed for describing data.
The XML tags are not pre-defined in XML. You will have to create tags according to your needs.
XML is self descriptive.
XML uses DDT principle (Defining the Document Type) to formally describe the data.
The main difference between XML and HTML: XML is not a substitute for HTML.

XML and HTML were developed with different purposes:

XML was developed to describe data and to focalize on what the data represent.
HTML was developed to display data about to focalize on the way that data looks.
HTML is about displaying data, XML is about describing information.
XML is extensible.

2) How long does it takes google spiders read the sitemap
here is No set time in for Google to initially index your site - the time taken can vary.
The time it does take may vary based upon factors such as;

* Popularity of the site (Whether it has any links to it)

* Whether the content is Crawl-able (Server Responses and Content type)

* Site structure (how pages interlink)

It is possible for a site to be crawled/indexed within 4 days to 4 weeks.
In some cases, it may take longer.

3) can you request google spiders to read your site upon request?
Yes Use google submit but can't set time for google Spider
