Hi Zarko,
CloudLinux is the perfect linux distro for selling shared or reseller hosting.
Server without CloudLinux
On a server that does not have CloudLinux their is no management of system resources with each customers account without using 3rd party software. If one website is very busy it can dominate the whole server and even crash the server.
Servers with CloudLinux
CloudLinux isolates each account, think of it as the server puts your account into a box that has set resources limits on it, CPU limit's, RAM limits, I/O limits etc.
No matter how busy your site gets it will not have an effect on other customers on the server.
The resources set for each account are normally ample for everything expect the most busy of sites.
This is only a basic example of why CloudLinux is so great and a must have for any shared hosting server. It has many different features, MySQL management etc.

Cloudlinux is currently one of the most popular, if not the most popular way of creating shared hosting packages. It has great management of the server and allows to control abuse up to some point.
While in my opinion it is the best, I also think it can do with a few more functions.
CloudLinux is not specifically for Cpanel, it can also be used for Plesk and other platforms. However most cPanel users do use CloudLinux because of how good cloudlinux is and of course the compatibility.

So, It is just useful for hosting providers, not for users but why I could see it on some shared hosting offers
I have cPanel installed on my hosting, how to have CloudLinux, I could not imagine if I don't have an image how it works or how it helps cPanel users
