How often do you change servers and why?

I'm curious for the general community as to the reasons why you would change your current server and move to another one.

We have seen customers do it anywhere from a year all the way to never (12 years and counting).

What is your usual reason?

I changed my hosting several times in a year, it depends on hosting services but for a VPS I often use at least 2 years before finding a new hosting company.
The reason for changing is low support, many downtimes and there are many better hosting offers I found on the forums and I would have a try.

Too many reasons for such migrations

Hosting company sold out
Server Crashed
Hosting company acquisition
Server upgrade
Server migration
and Lastly Bad Service or Bad Support

The market has became quite competitive , people has options available and hence they are always behind some one who is providing cheap services with awesome support.
