How to increase sales for affiliate or reselling product sites?

Hello,

I am having a website that reselling products on them like web hosting packages, wordpress themes and some other IM products.
Do you have any experience to increase sales or conversations for type of thsese sites?

Hiya Homebiz,

Its always down to two approaches... Ads vs. Organic...

For ads you need to figure out where your target audience hangs out i.e. forums, authority websites as well as keywords typed into search engines for Adwords and of course demographic data on social media.... With ads you need to keep an eye on tracking data so that you can refine your targeting e.g. broad match on keyword needs to be removed/changed to exact match, ad title, description etc....

For organic - well its down to your web content and how you are targeting/tracking keyword rankings... and of course authority backlinks (not spammy ones as that will hurt your site) and social signals which can help...

Finally for conversions - you need to keep an eye on your CTR/bounce rates and ideally use split testing to increase conversions...

You should also consider setting up an affiliate program - that is if you are prepared to pay a commission....

I think by advertisement you can increase the sales for affiliate or through a good marketing strategies you can able to resell the products sites. You can also do SEO for your website to increase the sales of your product.

And always make sure your websites or blogs always have an opt-in form on them offering your visitors something of value, like if you are selling web-hosting, offer them a course/ebook via email subscription on how to set up their own blog step by step, inside the course/ebook you give them your recommendation for a webhost provider and where to get a good theme.

This way your offer ties into what you are selling, and provides the how to, that people need. And now that they are on your email list you can suggest other products and services that you are selling that compliment your offer, and what they further need to grow their business.

If you build your email list with your traffic and do this right you will build life long customers who purchase from you many times.
