Best strategies for a brand new twitter account?

Hi guys,

What are the best strategies for a new twitter account? I'm tweeting the odd quote and comment every few hours. I retweet an occasional post that I like. And I reply to tweets that are relevant and I can have a conversation.

Is this the best plan or not? what is your suggestion?

Hey Kelly,

When matter comes to twitter I'd always stay to speechless because I still in dilemma which is the best method to work with twitter. Every time you try new method and it fails at some extent.. So I also want to know about this and hear more from other users... Lets see what people suggest about this..
