How to setup my Joomla site

I have a joomla site that is just setup, and I wanna add some plugins since it looks pretty simple.

I heard adding a chat script to joomla can bring in more users. Can I have some advice how I can do that? Should I look for some ready-written chat scripts on joomla or any advices?

No, it will not bring more users to you only increase interactions between users better.

Marketing advertising, word of mouth and having a web site with a unique niche and quality content will bring in more visitors. Chat software is a was of time if you have no visitors.
