Hi everyone,

More and more customers pay late or come in big trouble yourself. How do you think your customers pay on time without your relationship with that customer is lost and you still want to do. Business together in the future

any thoughts ?

This is very common scenario nowadays. I think you should intimate your customers on time about payment. If still you don't receive payment, you should again send an alert. If customer don't reply, suspend services temporarily and follow up your customers.

I think this is the way to receive payment on time.

We're using WHMCS - Web Hosting Billing & Automation Platform, it eases our job. It sends an invoice [reminder] to the client in advance 7,5,3 and 1 day before. Also, send the overdue invoice unless client doesn't pay or we open a ticket and ask them before manually suspend a product. You should add the late fee of $5 after the due date past if they don't pay on time.

I really do not believe in late fees as they not only cause the client to get frustrated but may also be the reason why you loose that customer.
We have no late fees and do not spam.
an email is sent for three days everyday letting the customer know that they have forgotten to pay, then we follow that up with a suspension (they can still get everything back after paying.).
