Personally, I’ve found it’s gotten harder to keep everything lightweight and efficient as tools and trends keep piling up. Lately, I’ve been sticking to what works: clean frontends (usually Tailwind CSS or something minimal), WordPress or headless CMS setups when clients need flexibility, and keeping the marketing side tied in early, so SEO and performance aren’t afterthoughts.

Tool-wise: Figma for design, VS Code for dev, Cloudflare for security/performance, and a decent analytics setup (not just GA4, but stuff like Plausible too).

Curious what stack or approach you’re finding works best these days.

I think in this sector we all dabble in a bit of everything, but the interesting thing isn't how many services you offer, but what you truly specialize in. In my case, I work mainly (or at least I try to) on web and automation projects, so the tools I use most are those that allow me to work quickly: Figma for prototyping, Laravel/Node for development, and of course, always some Python when it comes to data processing.
