There are only vertical lines on my screen; I think it's a software problem.

Does anyone now have this problem and how can it be resolved?

Perhaps it is a hardware issue; when I have this problem, I just replace my computer's RAM chip, and the problem is resolved.

It came from your device's screen and you may need to bring it to a maintenance service center. I have same problem in the past and I had to change my screen to a new one.
