My Windows 7 is more and more running slower after used it for 2 years without reinstalling, what steps can I do to fix it to make my Windows 7 run faster?

Did this just happen all of the sudden? For instance, has your performance been great up until Tuesday of last week? (just an example)
Or has your performance been getting worse and worse over the last one to two years?
Just to be sure, I would suggest taking some time to go through your system with a few Anti-Virus applications to see if there's anything causing performance issues.
Additionally, you could try out some utilities that could get rid of applications or temporary files that are no longer needed.

- SUPERAntiSpyware
- IOBit Uninstaller OR Revo Uninstaller
- Enables applications to be uninstalled and have any extra files that are installed by those applications to also be removed.

In such cases, only reinstalling Windows helps. You should also look into the issue of firmware development. But it seems to me that it is easier to install modern Windows 10.
