Hi Emilio,

Thanks for your question. Happy to share.

I am Mario Cano the chief executive officer at Fusion Arc Hosting. Choosing a name can be hard and it is very important as the company name is how all will remember you. The name "Fusion Arc Hosting" came from our parent company Fusion Arc Telecom a internet provider company I was starting when I was 16. I wanted the company names to have a meaning so here is the break down of the name:

Fusion - the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity. In our case the network, fiber optic cable routes, etc...
Arc - to me this is like having the parent company Fusion Arc Telecom and all its subsidiaries like Fusion Arc Hosting under that arc. A service provided under the parent company
Telecom - the exchange of information over significant distances by electronic means and refers to all types of voice, data and video transmission.
Hosting - the activity or business of providing storage space and access for websites.

As for how I thought of all this is an interesting question. Originally the parent company was going to be named Xterfamily telecom. However I told a few close people about it and not many liked it. So I spent days and months thinking of ideas until one day after waking up Fusion Arc went through my mind and I really liked. I also really liked it because every part of the name represents something. It represents a network of things working together to create an amazing solution.

I really enjoyed answering this question it brought a lot of good memories so thank you for that. :)

With gratitude,

Mario Cano | Fusion Arc Hosting

Nice explanation, I suppose that I understood the meaning of your company name. :)

Brand is nothing this days because most big companies today are doing a bad job compared to new StartUps companies that are offering more options and are way more flexible than others.

You have to take in consideration some small hosting companies too because I notices that they are way way better then most of the big names.

There are numerous diverse hosting businesses on the internet nowadays; you'll have no worry finding one. Though, I select hosting corporations only after they're guaranteed that they deal exceptional services, superior tools, and on-going backing. (It’s best not tried free hosting, you'll end up with banner ads on your page, which may irritate your visitors and make it tougher to get others to link with you). In this case, least price is not always finest cost, so it's paramount to stick with a trustworthy and dependable provider that gives you a lot for your money,

Due to the devastating request for this type of hosting, there are a lot of businesses competing to host your website. So, how do you choose what firm deserves your business. Well, here are a few strategies to help you in this decision; try to find firms that offer: money back assurances, altered backup options, uptime assurances, technical support via telephone and not just e-mail, redundant internet connections (so if one goes down, they have a backup), and the option to easily upgrade or downgrade your service if necessary. Also, it is valuable to see how long a business has been in professional and try to get some info on some of their current clients in order to give you a better company profile.

Select a hosting company that delivers you 24x7 service and 24 hour technical support.

Bandwidth is additional significant factor that one should consider while picking a company, make sure that you are allotted enough bandwidth for efficient data transfer.

Earth Girl was created because the owner (Amber) could never find a host that had all of the features she wanted, so she decided to create it. Her design clients always called her their "Website Super Hero", so she decided to go with a super hero theme. The name just popped up - earth (world wide web) and girl (her)....and of course the 1980's horrible rom-com, Earth Girls are Easy. She make her hosting easy, so she thought it was funny.

I asked the owner of ProResellerHost and this is his answer :

"I started ProResellerHost because I was struggling to find a web host that offered the feature set that I wanted. Prices weren't even really the issue... It was that most reseller companies were using software that was known to have security vulnerabilities and I just couldn't bring myself to terms to continue using them.... So I founded ProResellerHost.

Pro = Professional : I hold my staff and I to the highest standards of professionalism and expect excellent customer service from every staff member.

Reseller : The primary product that we offer and want to continue providing support for is the reseller hosting space. For top market changes, companies are dropping reseller hosting offerings left and right... Meaning that there are still needs for people to provide these services without breaking the bank.

Host : Web hosting is an industry that I've been in for many years and struggled to find the perfect solutions... So I decided I'd create the perfect solution. "
