How to move 5 websites on a cPanel hosting to a new host? I am planning to move these websites from my current hosting to a new host, they are running on WHM/cPanel, on a decent VPS. Which way or options to check to download and easily move 5 websites' data without any risks as downtime or lose data?

@Joseph_Hill - you will definitely have downtime might be for few minutes or hours, there are many ways to shift
1- use Cpanel to Cpanel migration option
2- take backup and upload to new host and when backups loaded on new host than you can change your nameservers and your site will be up on new host

Can you show me details for this option?

How to load backup from new host? I mean which option should I choose?

I am sure some hosting companies will do that but they will not maintain about downtime for their customers.

There will not be any downtime, just leave both websites/servers active and change dns of your domain name to a new host. Since dns propagation will take max 48-72 hours, some visitors will access old host website while others new host website.

1- CP to CP its the process which is between you and new hosting provider, just give them your old Cpanel details of Login, they can do it if they are cooperative and have good Support officers.
2- Download all files from Public_html folder into zip file and take backup of SQL from phpmyadmin in .gzip format.

You can transfer all accounts with no downtime, depending on each website of content, with myql etc...Keeping all accounts on old server and transfer new to new provider, but in the same time you have to freeze updates on old website. But overall you can move without any downtime...I did this with no problem...

The easiest way is transfer by cpanel backups. To minimize downtime, redirect domains with "A" records (change IP in the DNS zone), and only then change NS. After changing the "A" records clients will go to the new server within 30 minutes.

Agree but you will have no downtime if you use a CDN for your domain and managing your dns records there. :)

Ask your hoster - transfer sites usually do for free.

but they don't care about downtimes and risks for your websites if they transfer websites for you.

Better to say that not every hoster does this. We, for example, do it. After the transfer, we have check the working of the site, make redirect with "A" records. It's all depends on the hoster.
