I heard that once EIG bought hosting companies, the service went way down (i.e. with GoDaddy).

Does anyone have input on this?

Fyi - GoDaddy is not the part of EIG.

Almost users didn't know about EIG and I am also wondering what does EIG hosting means? Why hosting companies from it is bad for customers?

Are you asking what EIG stands for? If so, it's Endurance International Group and they are a large company who purchases many other hosting providers. They are publicly traded.
Why is this bad from customers? There are numerous reports of customer service and performance going downhill after they take over companies. If you want to know more, do a quick Google search.
