Xenforo 2 or IPS 4?

So i'm in a bit of a pickle here. I am starting up a new forum, I currently have them on Phpbb, however, with the practices over there with templates and lacks of addons kinda turns me away from them and i'm looking to go for a paid solution.
I have a Xenforo license and an IPS license. I'm not sure what to use.......Which would be a good solution for a niche forum like website design or Wordpress tutorials?
Which software does everyone prefer for a community?
Please share me pro's and con's of both.

Hello Chris,
if paid solutions provided a lot of features and were better than open-source solutions in the past, I'm not sure if it's still true.
In my opinion, the best forum software avalaible at the moment is discourse. With a clean design, threads are listed directly on the front page with categories and sub-categories, and members can find the latest post in two seconds, without having to use a "new posts" button or to scroll during few minutes.
