I am using memcached with Xenforo 2 and it is pretty good, if you don't use and you find an addon like Redis Cache By Xon :)

When it comes to caching plugins for XenForo 2, there are several options available that can help speed up your forum. Caching essentially helps reduce the load on your server by storing frequently accessed data in memory or on disk, making it quicker to retrieve and serve to users. This can lead to faster page load times and a better user experience.

One of the most popular caching plugins for XenForo 2 is LiteSpeed Cache, which is specifically designed to work with LiteSpeed web servers. This plugin offers a range of caching options, including page caching, database caching, and object caching, and can be configured to automatically purge expired content. LiteSpeed Cache also includes a variety of optimization features, such as minification and image optimization, which can further improve performance.

Another option is the XenForo 2 Cache by Xon, which is a free plugin available on the XenForo community forums. This plugin supports page caching, database caching, and object caching, and can be customized to suit your specific needs. XenForo 2 Cache also includes a range of features, such as support for multiple cache backends and the ability to exclude specific pages from caching.

If you're looking for a more advanced caching solution, you might consider using a content delivery network (CDN) in conjunction with your caching plugin. A CDN essentially caches your website's static content on servers around the world, making it faster to access for users in different locations. Some popular CDNs include Cloudflare, MaxCDN, and Amazon CloudFront.

The best caching plugin for your XenForo 2 forum will depend on a variety of factors, including your specific needs, server configuration, and budget. It's important to carefully evaluate your options and test different configurations to find the best solution for your forum.
