I use SMTP email server from hosting but my email used to go to spam box although I configured it correctly to get 10 points on email tester tool hence I would like to find some best SMTP service providers to integrate for my hosting to send email to inbox. I prefer free options but can accept paid ones. I heard about some like Sendinblue. Mailgun. SendGrid. Amazon SES but not sure which one is the best? can anyone recommend me?

The Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) is the underlying technology that acts as the bedrock for e-mail delivery. In simple terms it is the language that mail servers use to communicate with each other and to move e-mail messages around the Internet.

An SMTP cloaking service works by placing one or more public-facing SMTP servers in front of your own mail server. The public servers receive all mail destined for your domain, perform any necessary anti-spam and anti-virus checks, and only pass the mail to your own mail server if the message appears to be good.

My best advice is to contact a number of different SMTP cloaking service suppliers to discuss your own specific requirements. Everyone's needs are different, and the potential benefits you could gain by having an SMTP cloaking service will depend on your own individual circumstances.

I need a best one to try it, to be honest I didn't have more time to test or discuss with some suppliers about this.

It depends, on many factors why emails are going to spam (after 10 points on the email tester tool ) like the function for sending email is not configured properly or the IP address you are using has a bad reputation. However, if you change your hosting provider feel free to ask them to set up for you some mass mailing service like Mailgun, Sendgrid, etc. to send the emails. If you are planning to have a control panel like WHM/cPanel or DirectAdmin that would be even better.

Some of the best SMTP service providers include SMTPget, SendGrid, Amazon SES, iDealSMTP, and Omnisend. They offer reliable delivery, scalability, and advanced features for email marketing and transactional emails. personally, I have used SMTPget and Sendgrid for bulk email marketing. They provide good services at affordable prices.

I would suggest you give it a shot with Labnify SMTP as I have personally used them even though I still have an account with Mailjet and Sendgrid. Their setup comes with a detailed API documentation. Heads up: this is by far the best especially if most of your recipients are Gmail recipients and your email list is clean.

Another option is to setup a self-hosted SMTP on a CentOS server. But that might be too technical if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

If your emails are ending up in the spam folder despite having a perfect score on an email tester, you might want to switch to a dedicated SMTP service provider. Here’s a quick rundown of some options:
  1. Sendinblue: They offer a free plan with 300 emails per day, and their platform is quite user-friendly. It’s a solid choice if you want both email sending and marketing features.
  2. Mailgun: Mailgun gives you 5,000 free emails per month for the first 3 months, which is great for getting started. It's known for strong deliverability and is highly flexible for developers.
  3. SendGrid: With SendGrid, you get 100 free emails per day. It’s known for good deliverability and includes useful tools for tracking and analytics.
  4. Amazon SES: This is a very cost-effective option, especially if you’re already using AWS. You get 62,000 emails per month for free if sent from an EC2 instance, and it's praised for its reliability and scalability.
Each of these has its strengths, so it depends on what you need. For instance, if you want a free tier and don’t mind a bit of setup, Amazon SES is great. If you prefer a more straightforward interface with additional features, Sendinblue or SendGrid might be better. Mailgun is excellent for its flexibility and deliverability. Try a few and see which one works best for your needs!

If you’re leaning toward a free option, Sendinblue is pretty solid, offering a generous free tier, and it's also user-friendly. Mailgun and SendGrid are both strong in terms of deliverability, but their free tiers are a bit limited compared to Sendinblue. If you’re okay with paying a bit, Amazon SES is usually one of the cheapest options and has great deliverability, but it can be a little more technical to set up.

I'd say if you're looking for something straightforward with good support, Sendinblue might be your best bet. But if budget and scalability are important, Amazon SES is also a top contender.
