Hosted by Cloudflare?

I checked a few site including my site with whoishostingthis and it said that these sites are Hosted by Cloudflare. Does Cloudflare offer web hosting services? I doubt that happened because sites are using Cloudflare CDN. If so, how to check real hosting from a website that that website is using Cloudflare CDN?

No, Cloudflare does not provider traditional hosting. You will see this for sites that use Cloudflare.

Cloudflare are a CDN provider that helps cache your website. They dont offer Web Hosting.

There are really a lot of websites that is running CloudFlare. It is easy for us to recognize those website because there is something that would appear in the screen which loads CloudFlare. For me; I still do not have a clear idea of what does CloudFlare do in a website. According to my research; CloudFlare is something that would improve a websites performance in terms of its loading time.

How to know real hosting providers with websites using Cloudflare?
I really want to know who is really real hosting provider from a website. But since they used Cloudflare, I didn't know how to do this.

You should use Cloudflare for your websites so you will have ideas how Cloudflare works and ideas about it obviously.

Why would you want to know that information? The purpose of CloudFlare is to keep the original server safe to prevent DDoS attacks for example.

Then look for popular hosts, thats what most websites use. Some websites even have their own virtual server for themselves so that they're never disturbed by other customers.

In any of the cases you can have CloudFlare.

Yes.. you are right for that. I really do need to use Cloudflare for my website for me to have more ideas about it. Right at this time; I am still doing more research if it is really that good if I will be using Cloudflare on my website. I only have one website and I am now thinking If I will use it or not.

You can also still find out who's hosting a website even if they are using Cloudflare by using leafdns.com and looking under your A records at the bottom of the page.
