I definitely agree with that. I recommend posting your vlogs through youtube first then share it through facebook to market your own growing channel, Because it has the possibility to increase your subscribers, And has the ability to grow within a short period of time if you really dedicate yourself to it. Just make sure that you will make your own original contents or else youtube itself will demonitize your video, and another tip is make sure that you use royalty free music for you to avoid the copyright strikes.

Better to post it first on youtube and then share it to your facebook site to gain more watchers and earn more. Youtube has more features when it comes to video and facebook can make your video be seen by lots of people.

The best choice for this is to post is on Youtube. Youtube is the best place for videos, blogs, and so many more. It is much more convenient to post your blogs or videos in youtube to catch more viewers because it is the primary role of youtube in our internet world; to promote more videos posted by the owners.

Yes, uploading the video to YouTube and then sharing it on Facebook is normally the correct way ;). However Vimeo is a great place to start too and extremely easy to use, posting videos on either YouTube or Vimeo you can add Adsense to both platforms and earn.

If you're looking to monetize your videos, then I do would recommend YouTube first. If you're attempting to sell a product via your video, then Facebook ads can be narrowed down to a specific targeted audience. For example, if I spent $30 for a hundred clicks on a Facebook ad, I should expect to make at least one or two sales. The cost of acquisition plays into that decision.

If you have a decent amount of friends on facebook I would actually recommend it on there because they are more likely to watch it on that platform vs youtube. Also getting the 10,000 subscribers mark is a lot harder then you would think.

I recommend using YouTube instead of Facebook for good reasons. One is that YouTube is designed for video-sharing and video-streaming contents.. This means that the quality of your video is not affected because the system itself is for streaming. On the other hand, Facebook is designed to be the "Jack of all trades" when it comes to social interaction. Yes, you can post pictures, videos and links on Facebook, but the drawback is that, the quality is somehow affected to compensate on other people's screens. That is why when you post your pictures or videos on Facebook, you'll notice some changes in the quality.

My advise is, post your vlogs on YouTube first and then generate some view with the use of other social networks (e.g. Facebook and Twitter).

Facebook if you want to have a greater projection of our video among the people we know family, friends even though it is a global platform we can apply various filters and permits where we give privileges where only the person we want can see it.
YouTube is something more global and the idea from my point of view of youtube is to exchange multimedia videos so that all people can observe them since they are those videos to share, not to be restricted, I think that if you work from that point of view you lose the essence of the portal. I chose Facebook.

Facebook isn't really for posting vlogs. YouTube is recommended. These two works really well though when making vlogs. You post your vlogs through YouTube, customize your channel and polish it until it looks professional. Then in order to generate traffic to your YouTube channel and gain audience, you should use Facebook. Make a Facebook page about your vlogs and post clips from your YouTube channel persuading people from Facebook to look to your channel. You could also share your Facebook page to your friends through facebook.

Like most of the answers, I'd say go with YouTube first. Then share it through Facebook. Better too if you'll post contests on groups where you'll say you'll give a prize and the mechanic is to subscribe to your channel, something like that if that makes any sense to you..

I would love to agree to most of the answers. Since your strategy is through videos and vlogs, I think youtube is the best to use first then share to your facebook page or group. This is beacause people spend most of their time on facebook, thus giving your video a chance to be noticed more. You can also make a facebook page which is linked to your youtube account so that viewers will be always updated of your videos. Moreover, your video should be of best quality, creative, origina, useful and should target your prospect market to be more catchy to audiences.
