Hey,
How many security risks we face in cloud computing and how we resolve it?

Cloud has many different meanings and security concerns are unique to each.

If we are talking about a hardware cloud then security is not an issues as it is dealt with on the server/operating system level.

You need to be a little more specific as to what you are asking.

private cloud is probably a better option if security and compliances are important for your business

By saying "Cloud" most people mean any kind of data hosted in a data center or any services delivered through Internet, from any data center. It is funny to all of us who have been in this industry for ages, as the IT Hosting is always been like that.

Security on the Cloud is very broad discussion. It starts with power stability, continues with network security and then goes into specific niches. The end users need to deal with the security in their own servers (instances).

As the cloud computing has it's own infrastructure, there are very less chances of data loss or data security on cloud server.

Storing data without encryption - Main security risk is storing data without encryption. If the data on cloud is not encrypted then it will get lost.

Accessibility - You will need to make sure that your data is accessible to your self only. It should have restricted access.

Hack attempt - There are chances of the data hack as sometimes encryption is not done properly.

Secure data transfer - As data used to travel between the clouds, there might be chance of data loss or hacked data in between the transfer of data between the cloud.

I wonder if there will be a breach, will the cloud provider be liable for the lack of security or are you responsible for your own security measures?
