Hello am new into this hosting reselling just stumbled to it and don't really know much about it and how to make some bucks with it,

Apart from making money with it I really want to know how it works and how to make it happen,

I know its simple for you but to me it's very hard hearing that you will make use of hard disk to make some space out of your host.... Don't really understand can you please share some thoughts with me,

Am ready to learn it thanks

Well you need a couple of things, first comes a reseller plan or even better but more expensive option would be a VPS with cPanel installed. And then you need a billing CMS such as WHMCS, Blesta or BoxBilling.

Your answer seems like it is easy to start a reseller hosting business. First I get a reseller hosting plan, your recommendation is VPS with cpanel installed, and than I build a website with billing CMS installed.
What about the technical issues. Who will manage the problems faced by the customers, I the reseller hosting or the host that sold me the reseller plan?

Don't be fooled in to thinking reseller hosting is an easy way to make money.

While done right you may make a few dollars but it wont make you rich over night.

You will have to put in a lot of time effort and even money in order to reap the rewards of a successful reseller company.

Good luck and hope you get to where you want to be

Well, it's a matter of time being. The more you work here, the more you learn. In the initial steps, one of the toughest job is to reach out clients. As a reseller, you will get help from your upfront but nobody can help you with marketing strategies. Happy hosting. Good luck.

Remember if you make a "few" bucks through reseller hosting, is it worth the price of you supporting your clients ? To most, it probably is better to do part time jobs than just making a few bucks through reseller hosting.

But yes, you can make a few bucks easily. Get an cheap plan from a reputable provider, use BoxBilling ( free ), and charge a slight markup from the reseller prices, and voila, profit !

But be sure you are competent in cPanel, so you can solve most problems client end problems yourself, rather than fowarding it to thee reseller and relaying the message back

I too am interested in this kind of job, but haven't done any of it yet. The thing is, I myself don't really know much about it, although I have heard that although the possibility of earning through this is quite good, it would really take a lot of your time, fous, patience and effort. I have read many articles done by people who do this in which the main point was that it took quite some time for them to have earned real money. That aside, I really think that if you really much effort on this, you can really earn. Why would people do it if there's no real money in it right?

I am interested in reselling too. I just don't know how to market that kinds of service. Starting a business like that requires a big capital and a technical know how. You have to pay someone to maintain your website too and maintain your servers if you have your own servers.
